Pat Benatar to open concert

     Four-time Grammy-winner Pat Benatar has just been announced as
the opening act for the Steve Miller Band concert, scheduled Saturday,
April 20, at the Bob Carpenter Center.
     Benatar, with six platinum and four gold albums to her credit, is
known for such hit singles as "I Need a Lover," "Heartbreaker," "Fire
and Ice," "Treat Me Right," "Hit Me with Your Best Shot," "Hell Is for
Children," "Shadows of the Night" and "Love Is a Battlefield."
     Tickets for the concert are $27.50 and $23.50, depending on seat
location, and are on sale at the Carpenter and Perkins Student Center
box offices and through Ticketmaster. A convenience charge may apply.
