SERVICE
William Pulliam and Susan Shoemaker, history, coordinated an in-
service program March 2 on national history standards for high
school teachers who work with UD history student teachers. The
program, which focused on the national standards for American and
world history as well as Delaware's new state standards, was
financed by a $1,500 Delaware Humanities Forum grant.
Jerome Posatko, development, elected to a two-year term as
chairperson of the Business Systems Resources (BSR) User Group,
the largest professional association of development/alumni
systems professionals in the U.S., representing 85 universities,
colleges and nonprofit organizations using BSR Advance software
system.
AWARDS
Ed Okonowicz, public relations, received a Storytelling World
Award, Tellable Adult Stories category, for "Concert by
Candlelight" published in Welcome Inn, Vol. III.
