Two students honored with Del. Science Academy awards
Two UD juniors-Lori Hamby, a biochemistry major from Arlington,
Tenn., and Keith Hornberger, a chemistry major from Severna Park,
Md.-were the 1996 recipients of the Delaware Academy of Science Award
in Science and Technology for College Students in Delaware.
The award is presented to Delaware college students who have
demonstrated high potential in science and technology.
The award includes a one-year membership in the Delaware Academy
of Science and the American Association for the Advancement of Science
(AAAS), as well as a one-year subscription to the weekly AAAS
publication, Science.
Hamby and Hornberger already have been elected to membership in
the Delaware Academy of Science.
