Ph.D. student is recognized

     Bo Shi, a doctoral student in the Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering has been selected as a winner of a student
research award by the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association. Shi
will present a paper at the organization's 68th annual conference in
June, when he will receive a $200 check and plaque. He works with
Herbert Allen, a professor in the department.
