Employee honored

     Domenick Sicilia (right), director of the Bob Carpenter Sports
Convention Center, receives the Newark Business Association (NBA) 1996
Businessman of the Year award, from Jim Streit, publisher of the
Newark Post, which sponsors the award. Sicilia, vice president of NBA,
serves as University of Delaware liaison to the board. Dierdre Peake,
NBA economic development director, called the choice for the award
this year "obvious." "Anyone who has worked with Domenick knows that
he engages each task with an enthusiasm that is contagious," Peake
said.
