Web housing requests available

     A housing preferences scan form is now available on the World
Wide Web, according to Linda Carey, manager of Housing Assignment
Services.
     To complete the scan form, students may use public computing
sites or their personal computers if they have a network connection.
     Students should access SIS+Personal Access through Lynx on the
"Composers" or via Netscape. From the University's homepage, students
may select "Housing" under Campus Life, then "On Campus Housing
Options" and may click on "Submit Your Housing Preferences..." Under
the Student Housing Menu, students can complete their preferences
after entering Social Security number and PIN.
     Housing Assignment Services personnel, along with Susan Cover,
David Adkins and Nanette Reisor of Management Information Systems,
plan to expand the use of the World Wide Web in the near future, so
that both new and returning students will be able to apply for housing
and submit their preferences.
     The deadline for submission of housing preferences is March 21.
