Coaches fight cancer

     UD head basketball coaches, Mike Brey and Joyce Perry have joined
the Coaches vs. Cancer program, designed to help control the disease
by a "Three-Point Attack"-education, services to patients and
research.
     The program honors North Carolina State coach Jim Valvano, who
died of cancer in 1993.
     The coaches have pledged 50 cents to the American Cancer Society
in Delaware for each three-point field goal made by their teams this
season.
     More than 150 schools nationwide are participating.
     Last season, the Blue Hen men's and women's teams had 210 three-
pointers.
