AAUW award
     The Newark branch of the American Association of University Women
presents an annual award of $250, plus a one-year, at-large membership
in AAUW, to an outstanding senior woman.
     Principal consideration is given to academic achievement and
leadership in service on the campus and in the community.
     A minimum grade index of 3.25 is required.
     Application forms are available in the Office of Women's Affairs,
305 Hullihen Hall. Deadline in March 18.

Family buffet
     The Blue & Gold Club is offering a family night buffet from 5-8
p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22.
     The meal is free for children under 5, $5.95 for children 5-11,
and $12.95 for adults. A 12 percent service charge is included.

application.


RA selections
     The Office of Residence Life will hold information sessions
through Feb. 28 for students interested in learning more about
becoming resident assistants.
     Information sessions will be held throughout the campus. Call
Chuck Shermeyer for additional information on sites and times at 831-
8496.
     Applications are available only at these sessions and must be
turned in from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Feb. 28-March 1, in the Alumni Lounge
of the Perkins Student Center.
     Students who have a 2.2 cumulative grade point average, have no
judicial record and will have sophomore status by the fall 1996
semester may apply.


Ag career info
     An Agricultural Sciences Career Fair will be held from 12:30-2:30
p.m., Thursday, Feb. 29, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student
Center.
     Dozens of employers will showcase opportunities available to UD
students and alumni.
     At past fairs held during the last six years, students have found
internships, summer and full-time work at the event.

Ag open house
     Potential students and their family members and guests will be
able to visit laboratories, tour the research farm and talk to
faculty, staff and students at the fifth annual Ag Sciences Showcase,
scheduled from 1:30-4 p.m., Saturday, March 16, in Townsend Hall.
     The event is designed to allow high school and returning adult
students to learn more about the College of Agricultural Sciences and
career opportunities available to its graduates.
     The showcase is free, but pre-registration is requested. To
register, call 831-2508.


UDARF meetings
     The University of Delaware Association of Retired Faculty this
spring will meet on Tuesdays from 11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. in the Read
Room of the Perkins Student Center.
     The spring schedule includes meetings on March 12, March 26,
April 16, April 30 and May 14.
     Special guest at the March 26 luncheon will be John Wriston, who
will present "Vermont Is Not New Hampshire."
