Skating teams in campus ice arena

Seventy-eight teams of precision ice skaters, performing
synchronized routines, will compete at the University on Friday and
Saturday, Feb. 23-24, in the Eastern Sectional Precision
Championships.
More than 1,500 skaters will perform in groups of 8-24. The
routines are choreographed to music and enhanced by costumes, hand and
head movements and footwork. Speed, formation, flow and unison are key
elements of a quality precision program. The competition, which will
be held at the University's Ice Skating Science Development Center, is
open to the public.
     Cost for a two-day, all-event ticket is $5.
The competition is sponsored by the UD Figure Skating Club.
