Lunch series begins Feb. 20
The University will present six lunchtime, brown-bag sessions,
each featuring resources available on the Internet's World Wide Web.
The presentations will be held in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in
the Morris Library. The campus community is invited to attend any or
all of the sessions, which will be held Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m.
Reservations are not necessary. The schedule includes:
Feb. 20, Sports Sites on the Web. This session will explore some
of the most interesting sports sites, with an emphasis on
college sports.

Feb. 27, Traveling the Mid-Atlantic Region. An internet tour of
local areas, including metro information, tickets, and museum
exhibition schedules.

March 12, Get Wired, Get Hired! Hundreds of job hunting and
career resources are available on the Web. Come and explore
some of the most interesting web sites as well as important
resources available at the University of Delaware

March 19, Electronic Dust: Archives on the Internet. Visit some
of the many manuscripts and archival collections at
repositories around the world and attend exhibitions on the
World Wide Web. Explore the Internet "attic."

April 16, Extending the Limits of the Web. Visit landCams,
seaCams, skyCams and pirahnaCams. Request up-to-the-minute
photos of the Berlin railroad or generate your own fractals.
Explore live Web animation and other cutting-edge Web
technology with "Java" and other trailblazing sites on the
Web.

April 23, Television on the Web. A tour of various Web sites that
feature information on television shows from daytime to late-
night.
