Four UD babies share birthday

     Was it something in the water? Or was Sagittarius in the
ascendancy? Were the tides and moon in an unusual conjunction? Only
the remote sensor satellite knows for sure!
     But, whatever happened, a fourth-dimensional birthday celebration
took place on Dec. 4 in the College of Marine Studies when four baby
girls were born that same day. Proud parents and babies were Missy
Howson, a graduate student in marine biology-biochemistry, with twin
daughters Emily Abagail and Elizabeth Danielle, Shiou-Wen (Bob) Chen
and daughter Jessica, and Chua-Wen (Jack) Ting and daughter Grace.
Both fathers are in the oceanography program.
