Finance dept. ranked among best

     The University of Delaware's Department of Finance is ranked 39th
out of 330 schools in the U.S and Canada, in the total number of
articles published by faculty. The ranking is in a recent article,
"Finance Research Productivity and Influence," appearing in the
December issue of The Journal of Finance.
     According to Robert Schweitzer, chairperson of the department in
the  College of Business and Economics, Delaware outranked such top
rated business schools as Dartmouth College, University of Virgina,
and Carnegie Mellon University and others, in terms of the total
number of articles published by faculty.
