Wide range of SCADA training is available for organizations
The Statewide Coalition for the Americans with Disabilities Act
(SCADA), a group committed to the effective implementation of the
Americans with Disabilities Act in Delaware, can provide free training
for organizations, community groups and consumers.
The training sessions are available on a variety of topics
related to persons with disabilities and may be arranged through the
University's University Affiliated Program for Families and
Developmental Disabilities (UDUAP).
SCADA training can educate and inform the community of its rights
and obligations under the ADA and enable business, government and
disability communities to work together to ensure equal opportunity
for persons with disabilities.
Organizations may choose from training sessions on employment,
state and local government programs, activities and services,
transportation, privately owned accommodations, telecommunications,
architectural barriers, tax incentives and disability awareness and
sensitivity.
Each training session lasts for three hours and is designed for
groups of 20-30 people.
