     Conference program committee. A nonprofit consortium, EDUCOM is
     dedicated to improving higher education through the application
     of information technologies.

     Michael T. Gamel-McCormick, individual and family studies, was
     appointed to a two-year term on the Delaware Department of Public
     Instruction's Comprehensive System of Personnel Development
     Committee.

     Marion C. Hyson, individual and family studies, was named editor
     of Early Childhood Research Quarterly, a scholarly journal
     sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young
     Children.
