Exhibit scheduled on 'The Review'

An exhibition entitled, "The Review: Twelve Decades of College
Journalism," will be on display on the first floor of the Morris
Library from Feb. 12-May 25.
From its start in 1882 as a collection of poems, essays and
campus news to its present-day format as a two-section, broadsheet
newspaper, The Review has served the campus community. The exhibition
highlights some of the most significant or interesting stories that
The Review has carried during its 113-year history.
Recently the University Library, in cooperation with the Perkins
Student Center, The Review and University Archives, has updated its
microfilm holdings of The Review to include all available issues from
September 1882 through February 1994 (call number: M.Film S30). This
microfilm collection is an important resource, not only as a record of
past campus events but also as a reflection of changing student views
and lifestyles over the past century.
The exhibition was curated by John Brunswick and Richard
Campbell, media services.
