New senior center

     With exterior work and grounds preparation nearly done,
construction crews are using the winter months to finish the interior
of the new Newark Senior Center. A February opening is planned. A
significant number of members of the University community are involved
in the second phase of the campaign for this new center. The
University will have a strong presence in the new facility, which will
be the permanent home of the UD Adult Day Care Center. Interns from
many disciplines will study at the site, and a wellness clinic will be
run under a federal grant awarded to the College of Nursing.
