College Alumni Achievement Medal for distinguished contributions
to science.

U. Carl Toensmeyer, food and resource economics, has been chosen
as president-elect of the Food Distribution Research Society.
Susan C. Lee, foreign student and scholar adviser, has been
appointed to a two-year term as the Council of Advisers to
Foreign Students and Scholars representative to NAFSA,
Association of International Educators, Region VIII.
Kathryn L. Kotula, animal and food sciences, as a scientific
adviser to the National Broiler Council, was a guest on "Poultry
