Nurse practitioners honored

     Delaware Gov. Thomas R. Carper and Lt. Gov. Ruth Ann Minner have
proclamed the week of Nov. 5-11 Nurse Practitioner Week in the state
of Delaware.
     The proclamation recognizes nurse practitioners for the timely,
cost-effective quality of the administration of their health care;
their advanced educational and clinical practice requirements; and
their leadership in primary health care combining roles as providers,
mentors, educators, researchers and administrators.
     The University's successful Family Nurse Practitioner Program
graduated its first class of students at last Spring's Commencement.
