UD ROTC team wins 10-miler

     The UD Army ROTC cadet team won first place at the Army 10 Miler
on Oct. 15 in Washington D.C. This is the third consecutive year the
UD team has won the cup. Team members were Tom Spahr (captain), Tom
Eybye, Richard Gilpin, Jeff Glines, Bill Kilcoyne, Chris Martinez and
Lance Workman.
     The Blue Hen cadre team took fifth place in the All-Comers
Category. Cadre team members were Gerald Barber, Brian Gilbert, Efrain
Hernandez, Russell Morris, Shawn Phillips and Paul Thorson.
     More than 30 ROTC programs were represented at the race, with
more than 8,400 runners.
