New Student Services Center in Wilmington

The University has opened a new Student Services Center for its
adult and continuing education students on the Wilmington Campus.
The offices, previously located in the Wilcastle Center, are now
in a nearby facility previously used for continuing education program
development offices.
The newly renovated building combines academic advisement,
general University information, registration, career counseling, fee
payment, parking registration and related student services, all in one
location. Also available is an expanded career library.
According to Barbara Sloyer, service representative in the
Division of Continuing Education, "We want to make it as convenient as
possible for our adult and continuing education students, as well as
the clients of career services."
The Wilmington Student Services Center is open from 8:30 a.m.-8
p.m., Mondays and Thursdays; from 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays and
Wednesdays; and from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Fridays.
Academic advisers are available, by appointment, to help adults
identify career, educational or personal goals. Free skill-learning
workshops are offered to help adults succeed in their college work.
Appointments with an adviser can be made by calling the Newark campus
at 831-2741. No appointment is needed for other services.
For information, contact the Wilmington Campus at 573-4437.
