Water alert

     Area drought conditions over the last few months have placed
significant stress on the city of Newark's water supply. This, coupled
with the increased demand for water by returning students and faculty,
may create a water supply shortage.
     The city of Newark and the Water Resources Agency for New Castle
County request assistance from the entire campus community to reduce
water use wherever possible:
        * Take shorter showers.
        * Turn off running faucets.
        * Don't use the toilet as a trash can.
        * Report leaks immediately.
