Meeting the mayor

     More than two dozen educators representing 15 African nations
participated in a six-week Summer Institute for English as a Foreign
Language at the English Language Institute. As part of the group's
cultural programming itinerary, the teachers and administrators
traveled to Wilmington and met with Mayor James Sills, who discussed
the city's attributes, business initiatives, community development
plans and challenges.
