SERVICE AND AWARDS

     Frank Dilley, philosophy, appointed to second three-year term as
     chairperson of lectures, publications and research committee,
     American Philosophical Association.

     Edmunds V. Bunkse, geography, produced and co-scripted a 75-
     minute television documentary on U.S. culture, history and
     politics for Latvian TV, which aired Sept. 28 in Riga. The film
     included a segment on the UD campus.

     Allan L. McCutcheon, sociology, was one of five American social
     scientists invited to teach at European Consortium for Political
     Research Aug. 6-19, University of Essex, England.

     Chandra L. Reedy, art conservation, named associate editor for
     Archaeometry, international journal devoted to technical studies
     of art and artifacts.
