PAC and SSAC seek volunteer representatives

     All salaried staff and professionals are urged to consider
serving as members of the Salaried Staff Advisory Council (SSAC) and
the Professional Advisory Council (PAC), according to Maxine Colm,
vice president for employee relations.
     Applications have been sent to all qualified persons, and the
deadline for volunteering is Friday, Oct. 21.
     "We would like representatives on both councils from across the
University," Colm said. "Representing the interests of colleagues or
engaging in discussions about University policies and programs is an
important service.
     The monthly meetings of PAC and SSAC provide such a forum."
