Diversity
Diversity workshops scheduled

Diversity workshops, sponsored by the Commission to Promote
Racial and Cultural Diversity, are led by trained faculty, staff and
students. These half-day and day-long workshops are designed to
promote the skills necessary to help members of the campus community
better understand the problems of discrimination.
Workshops focus on dealing with racism, sexism, anti-semitism,
homophobia, classism, and age and ability discrimination.
Approximately 40 individuals on campus have been trained as
workshop leaders, using a model developed by the National Coalition
Building Institute.
To register for a diversity workshop, fill out the form below and
return to the Office of Affirmative Action and Multicultural Programs,
124 Hullihen Hall. Interested persons also may call Gloria Davis at
831-8735, or send e-mail to Gloria.Davis@mvs.udel.edu to indicate
interest in attending a workshop.
Registration is requested at least one week in advance.
