Committee to advise on design

     A special committee has been appointed to advise on classroom
design issues for the new classroom building to be built on the Mall.
     The committee will provide input to University Provost Mel
Schiavelli and the building's architect, Allan Greenberg.
     Members are Joseph di Martile, University registrar; Barbara
Gates, Alumni Distinguished Professor of English; Judy Greene,
director of the University's Center for Teaching Effectiveness; Lonnie
Hearn, director of University Media Services; Ken Lewis, Chaplin Tyler
Professor of Economics; Errol Lloyd, chairperson of computer and
information sciences; David Olagunju, assistant professor of
mathematical sciences; Paul Sammelwitz, associate professor of animal
and food sciences; Paul Sestak, associate professor of textiles,
design and consumer economics; and Harry Shipman, professor of physics
and astronomy.
