Arts in education

     Snapping to it, 30 teachers in a summer program, conducted by the
Delaware Institute for Arts in Education, take part in a dance seminar. The
program encourages teachers to incorporate the visual arts, dance, theatre
and music in their teaching, and gives them hands-on experience in the arts
plus information about museums and artistic events in the area. Marilyn
Bauman is executive director and Ann Oldach is artistic director of the
program, now in its 13th year.
