Tuition increases for 1995-96 academic year

Tuition for full-time undergraduate and graduate students at the
University of Delaware has been raised for 1995-96.
The new rates are $3,860 for Delawareans, up $170 over last year for
an increase of 4.6 percent, and $10,730 for non-residents, up $510 over
last year for an increase of 5 percent.
"Considerable effort is aimed at containing expenses on campus so that
the University of Delaware can provide a high quality education at a
competitive cost for our students and their families," University President
David P. Roselle said. "This year's modest tuition increase-combined with
our continuing efforts to increase financial aid assistance to our
students-positions the University of Delaware as one of the best
educational bargains in the region. We plan to improve further upon this
advantage in the future."
Full-time graduate tuition is the same as that for undergraduates,
with the exception of those pursuing the master of business administration
(MBA) degree.
New, full-time MBA tuition is $4,856 for Delaware residents, an
increase of 4.6 percent (or $214), and $10,730 for non-residents, an
increase of 5 percent (or $510).
