free public community forum, to be held from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, June 28,
in Clayton Hall.
Sponsored by the National Issues Forum (NIF), the evening will focus
on what role the public school system should play in transmitting common
values from one generation to the next. America's public schools have been
at the center of controversy over whether or not and how the issues of
moral authority, family life, sexual expression and diversity should be
incorporated into school curriculum.
