Newark festival Saturday night

     Newark Nite, a family street festival, will be held from 5-9:30
p.m., Saturday, June 10, on Main Street with music and entertainment
for all ages.
     The event begins with an antique automobile parade at 5 p.m.
Three stages will present musical performances by such groups as the
Craig Austin Band, the Dallas Stillwater Band, Mike Mason and Southern
Pride, Jerry Haines, Membhru, One Way Street, Jerry and the Juveniles,
Aquafunk and Escape Artists.
     Magicians, jugglers and pony rides will entertain children.
Dancing, shopping and food also will be available.
     The event is cosponsored by the Newark Business Association and
the City of Newark. Free parking is available in Newark Parking
Authority lots.
     Rain date is June 17.
