Trustee meeting
     The University of Delaware Board of Trustees will hold its
regular spring semiannual meeting at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, in Room
120 of Clayton Hall.


Memorial Day
     A concert and dance will be held from 6-9 p.m., Saturday, May 20,
in the parking lot behind the Academy Building on Academy Street in
Newark, as part of the city's celebration commemorating the 50th
anniversary of the end of World War II.
     Live music will be provided by the Delaware National Guard Band.
Also, World War II vehicles and uniformed re-enactors will be present.
     A scavenger hunt will be held from noon-3 p.m. for children ages
9 and under. Registration forms and information are available from
area merchants.
     The events are sponsored by the city's Memorial Day committee and
the Newark Business Association. For information, call 366-1680.


Lunch schedule
     The Blue and Gold Club Tavern's lunch express buffet will close
for the summer after lunch on Friday, May 19. The Main Dining Room and
the Patio will remain open for lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.,
Mondays through Fridays.

Women at work
     "Weaving Women's Lives in the Work Place" is the topic of a
presentation from noon-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, in the Rodney
Room of the Perkins Student Center.
     Caryn McTighe Musil, director of the Project on the Status of
Women at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, will
be the featured speaker.
     All faculty, professional and salaried staff are invited to
attend. Attendees may bring their lunch. Beverages and dessert will be
provided.

New box office hrs.
     Beginning Tuesday, May 30, the Perkins Student Center box office
will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. The hours
at the Bob Carpenter Center box office will remain 10 a.m-6 p.m.,
Mondays through Saturdays.
