Continuing ed gets video award

     The University's Division of Continuing Education will be
presented an Award of Excellence from the National University
Continuing Education Association, Region II, at a ceremony during the
organization's annual conference Oct. 6 in Pittsburgh.
     The University is being recognized in the Faculty and Staff
Development category for a video program entitled "Using Television,
Video and Related Technologies to Enhance Teaching and Learning-A
Faculty Exposition."
     The video was submitted by continuing education personnel Suzanne
Smith, associate director; Mary Pritchard, program coordinator; and
Richard Fischer, associate provost and continuing education director.
     University staff who cooperated in the project included Margaret
Anderson, vice provost; Lonnie Hearn, director, media services; and
Judith Greene, director, Center for Teaching Effectiveness.
