Mammography screening to be held on campus April 17

Mammography of Delaware will have its mobile unit for screening
for the early detection of breast cancer on campus, Monday, April 17,
from 9-11 a.m., in the Perkins Student Center parking lot.
Thanks to the state's Division of Public Health and the Medical
Center of Delaware, Mammography of Delaware provides a cost-effective,
convenient method for early detection of breast cancer. The reduced
cost is $74 and may be covered by an individual's insurance.
The UD annual physical examination dollars may be applied for the
screening. Although Delaware has the highest death rate from breast
cancer in the country, more than 95 percent of women with the disease
can be successfully treated when it is detected early.
