Take Our Daughters to Work Day" will be celebrated at the
University and across the country on Thursday, April 27.
Tlhe purpose of the annual event is to encourage tomorrow's

daughter or the daughter of a friend or relative to work with them for
the day, subject to the approval of their immediate supervisors,
according to Maxine Colm, vice president for employee relations.

A special luncheon for participants is scheduled at noon in the
Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center. Marilou Hyson, chairperson
of the Commission on the Status of Women, and Liane Sorenson, director
of the Office of Women's Affairs, will welcome the group.
