B & G wine tasting
     The Blue and Gold Club will host an international wine tasting
dinner at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 23.
     The event will feature food and wines from France, Italy and
Spain. The cost of the multi-course dinner is $45, including the
club's service charge.

Gate parking
     Employees interested in gate-controlled parking with no waiting
are advised to consider available spaces in two campus lots.
     The Orchard Road/Amy E. du Pont Music Building gate-controlled
lot has been open since mid-January. The parking garage on Main Street
has been open since the beginning of February.

Orientation workers
     The Office of Admissions is recruiting undergraduate students to
work as assistants during New Student Orientation during the summer.
     Applicants must be full-time undergraduates and have a minimum of
a 2.0 grade point average. Application deadline is  April 7.

Honors Day event
     The Institute of Energy Conversion will hold an Honors Day
ceremony at 11 a.m., Friday, May 5, in the Seminar Room of the
Institute of Energy Conversion Building on Wyoming Road.
     This is the second year the institute will sponsor an awards
ceremony on Honors Day.


Hypnotist show
     Hypnotist Mark Pittman will present a free performance at 7
tonight in Pearson Hall auditorium. The program is sponsored by the
Student Center Programming Advisory Board.


UD equestrians
     The UD Equestrian Team is hosting a horse show involving several
other teams from the region, beginning at 8 a.m., Sunday, March 19, at
Greenfields Inc.. in West Grove, Pa.
     Admission is free, and the competition occurs throughout the day.
