Tops in the state

     Kari Manlove, Delaware '94 and a member of last year's women's
softball team, was named NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of
Delaware. She was recognized Feb. 17 at a ceremony in the Acierno
Arena of the Bob Carpenter Center. Presenting the award is University
President David P. Roselle, along with Mary Ann Hitchens (left),
associate director of athletics, and B.J. Ferguson, women's softball
coach and associate professor of athletics.
