'Mother Courage' on stage

     Karla Nielson of Evansville, Ill., stars as Mother Courage in
Mother Courage and Her Children, staged through March 4 by the
University's Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP). Productions
are held in Hartshorn Hall. Brechtian authority and international
director Heinz-Uwe Haus returns to PTTP to stage Bertold Brecht's tale
of unrelenting survival. One of the performances, a matinee on
Saturday, Feb. 25, coincides with the Bertolt Brecht Symposium, being
held that day on the Newark campus. For more information on the
