Benefit auction during BU game

A pair of tickets to the 1996 Super Bowl, a portrait by UD head
football coach Harold "Tubby" Raymond and NFL footballs, autographed
by such celebrities as Steve Young, Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Joe
Namath and Emmitt Smith, are among the more than 70 items that will be
offered up for bids on Sunday, Feb. 19, before, during and after the
UD men's basketball game against Boston University in the Bob
Carpenter Center.
Keith Handling, head athletic trainer and associate professor of
athletics, said the fundraising effort is being conducted by the UD
Student Athletic Trainers Club to support operation of a high school
student trainer clinic on campus this June.
A silent auction will begin at noon and continue until 15 minutes
after the conclusion of the 1 p.m. game. A live auction will begin at
that time.
