New way to view information on U-Discover!

     Students and employees will soon look at personal information a
new way.
     You-View, an external viewer for use with Hgopher and Mosaic,
lets you view your personal information.
     Starting Feb. 21, you will need You-View to connect to SIS/Plus
Personal Access or the Personal Information Access directory.
     Students may view and copy their grade reports, class schedules,
bills and unofficial transcripts. Employees may check their benefits,
payroll/tax status and employment summary. If you are an employee and
a student, you can use both systems.
     "To use the Personal Information Access directory, you must first
set up a PIN with your PAF contact or get in touch the staff at
Personnel Records," Shirley Worden, employee relations, said.
     You can download the You-View viewer directly from U-Discover! to
your Windows system. If you have a DOS system, you only need to
install U-Discover!'s latest version of gopher since it already
contains You-View. A Macintosh version of You-View has been developed
and is currently being tested. Be sure to check the "Read Me" file for
detailed information about using the system.
