Arnold Kerr named fellow
Arnold Kerr, professor of civil engineering, has been named a
fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). During
his more than 30 years as an engineer, Kerr has contributed extensive
research in structural mechanics and developed several working models
and analysis tools.
The 127,000-member ASME is a worldwide engineering society that
focuses on technical, educational and research issues. It conducts one
of the world's largest technical publishing operations, holds some 30
technical conferences and 200 professional development courses each
year and sets many industrial and manufacturing standards.
