Letter from the V.P. for Employee Relations

Dear Colleague,

     The start of a new academic year challenges all of us-students
and staff alike-to think about our personal and professional goals.
This special supplement provides information about upcoming Employee
Relations activities. I particularly call your attention to the
numerous workshops that are designed to enhance your opportunities for
career growth. It will be helpful if you involve your supervisor or
unit head in developing a plan that addresses both your professional
needs and those of the unit.  Know also that the staff of Employee
Services is available to assist you with career planning initiatives.
     I do hope that you will enroll in one or more of these programs
across the 1994-95 academic year.
