Employee Development and Training
Employees, family members learn to drive defensively

     University employees Don Redmond (left), administrative officer,
and James Grimes, traffic manager, Department of Public Safety are
certified National Safety Council instructors for the Defensive
Driving and Advanced Defensive Driving courses.
     They provide Defensive driving instruction several Saturdays
throughout the year. The program is offered through Employee
Development, which recently added Advanced Defensive Driving to its
schedule.
     Successful completion of these programs can result in a decrease
in the liability portion of a participant's automobile insurance,
depending on your carrier's policy.
     Employees should check the current listing of classes for more
information.
