Staff luncheon
The University of Delaware Staff Association luncheon will be
held from noon-1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, in the Rodney Room of the
Perkins Student Center. Guest speaker is Sue Snider, Cooperative
Extension, who will talk on "Healthy Eating for a Healthy Heart-What
the Latest Research is Saying."
Cost is $6.75. Beverage only is $1.25. Deadline is Feb. 10.

Holocaust museum
A day trip to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.,
will be conducted on Sunday, Feb. 26. Busses will leave the parking
lot of the Perkins Student Center at 9 a.m., and the return bus from
Washington, D.C., will leave at 5 p.m.
Transportation cost is $5 for Hillel members and $10 for non-
members. Admission to the museum is free. Ninety-six tickets have been
reserved at the museum for trip participants.

453-0479, or stop by the center at 47 West Delaware Ave.
Library hours
Library hours through March 23 are 8 a.m.-midnight, Mondays-
Thursdays; 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays; and 11
a.m.-midnight, Sundays.
Special Collections and Exhibition Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5
p.m., Mondays-Fridays and until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Book signing
Bill Lawson, chairperson of philosophy, will sign copies of his
book, Between Slavery and Freedom, beginning at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb.
12, at the Museum of American Art, 118 North Broad St., Philadelphia.
Using the writings of slaves and former slaves, as well as
commentaries on slavery, Lawson examines the moral and political
concepts of oppression, resistance and forgiveness.
Sports camps
Information on summer sports camps is available. Sessions are
planned in boy's and girl's basketball, girl's shooting, tennis, field
hockey, girl's lacrosse, diving, soccer, volleyball, football, cross
country as well as an all sport camp.

Hawaii staff cruise
A cruise is being offered in 1996 by the University's Salaried
and Professional Staff Association. A minimum of 20 participants is
needed, and one, free trip will be given away. Individuals interested
in receiving a brochure, when available, are asked to send e-mail to
Cynthia.Timko@mvs.udel.edu.
If there is enough interest, shorter cruises to Nassau, Bermuda
and/or Nova Scotia and New England will be considered.
Lose weight
Classes on weight management will be held once a week on
Tuesdays, from 1:10-1:50 p.m. in 236 Alison Hall. The class, being
taught by a registered dietitian, begins Feb. 14 and will run for six
weeks.

Annual meeting
The U-Del Federal Credit Union annual meeting will be held from
noon-1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Ewing Room of the Perkins
Student Center. All members are encouraged to attend.
