Applications for special awards due

     Senior faculty members interested in applying for Center for
Advanced Study awards for 1995-96 must do so by Feb. 18.
     Information on the awards is available from college deans and
department chairpersons. Applications should be sent to William
Latham, professor of economics, who is chairing the selection
committee.
     Four awards-at least two for research and at least one for the
improvement of instruction-will be given. Fellows are given a year off
from their teaching responsibilities to pursue the objectives of their
proposals.
     Fellows of the Center for Advanced Study at the University of
Delaware for the 1994-95 academic year are Richard Sylves and Leslie
Goldstein, both political science and international relations; and
Joan Del Fattore, English.
