Library Associates elect officers

     The University of Delaware Library Associates elected its
officers for 1995 at the November annual meeting: Frances O. Allmond,
president; Wilson J. C. Braun Jr., senior vice president; John B. Tepe
Jr., vice president; J. A. Leo Lemay, secretary/treasurer; and Susan
Brynteson, assistant secretary/ treasurer.
     Founded in 1958, the University of Delaware Library Associates
works to expand and enrich the research collections of the library
through individual gifts, donations of significant books and funds
raised by the organization's programs.
     These contributions support the acquisition of rare library
materials, an exhibition opening reception and publication to promote
Special Collections, a June lecture program featuring the research of
a faculty member and an annual dinner featuring a regionally or
nationally known author, among other activities.
