A clean sweep!

     All five Blue Hen women's coaches in fall sports have been named
North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year by their fellow
league coaches, marking the first time in NAC history that a single
school has swept the coaching awards.
     The honored Delaware coaches are (from left) Scott Grzenda,
women's soccer; Laura LeRoy, tennis; Barbara Viera, volleyball; Carol
Miller, field hockey; and  Sue McGrath-Powell, cross country.
     The five women's sports teams combined for a win total of
79-24-1, for a winning percentage of 76.4 percent.
     Each team finished no lower than second in its respective NAC
conference championship, with volleyball winning its second NAC title
in three years.
