Villanova tickets
Members of the University community who were 1994 football season
ticket holders are entitled to free tickets to the 1994-95 men's and
women's basketball games. Due to the interest in the Delaware vs.
Villanova men's basketball game at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30, the
Intercollegiate Athletics Program has modified its policy on game
tickets available for the Villanova contest.
Only 100 tickets will be available for the employee season ticket
holder group. No telephone orders will be taken. To sign up for
tickets, University season ticket holders must visit the Season Ticket
Services Office in the Delaware Field House by Thursday, Dec. 22.
There is a two-ticket per person limit.
Lunch and learn
"Stress Management," the final workshop of the fall Lunch and
Learn series, sponsored by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program,
will be presented from noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, in the Collins
Room of the Perkins Student Center.
Cosponsored by the Office of Women's Affairs, the program will
help participants learn to cope with pressure.
Registration deadline is Dec. 9. Call Darlene Sharp at 831-

Holiday fitness
"Holiday Survival: How to Prevent that Unwanted Weight Gain" will
be presented from 1-1:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the Ewing Room of
the Perkins Student Center.
This Employee Wellness Center program, to be presented by
Marianne Carter, counselor in the University's Nutrition Clinic, is
free and open to the members of the University community. No
registration is necessary.
The Wellness Center will offer a Smoking Cessation Wellness
Package beginning in January. Details will be available soon.

Credit Union hours
The University of Delaware Credit Union's operating hours will
coincide with the University's schedule during the holiday season. The
Credit Union office will close at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 23, and reopen
at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Library hours
Morris Library hours through Dec. 16 are 8 a.m.-midnight, Mondays-
Thursdays; 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays; and 11
a.m.- midnight, Sundays. Special collections and exhibition gallery
hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.,Mondays-Fridays; and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on
Tuesdays.
The Morris Library will remain open until 10 p.m. on Dec. 9 and
10 and until 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16.

Staff luncheon
The University Staff Association will hold its monthly luncheon
from noon -1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins
Student Center.
Wanda Cook, administrative assistant in the Faculty Senate
office, will sing a number of holiday selections. She will be
accompanied by Michael Arenson, associate professor of music.
Reservations must be made by Friday, Dec. 9. Cost for the Dining
Services luncheon menu is $6.50 ($1.25 for brown bag). Checks must be
made payable to University of Delaware and sent to Vicki Taylor,
entomology. Late reservations cannot be accepted.
Blue & Gold special
Middle Eastern cuisine will be featured during the Blue and Gold
Club Ethnic Night buffet from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15. Dishes such
as leg of lamb, marinated shish kebab, stuffed grape leaves and
baklava will be on the menu. Cost is $12.95 for adults. Call UD1-CLUB
for reservations and/or a membership application.
Shuttle to D.C.
The Washington, D.C., shuttle to the Library of Congress and the
Folger Institute will be in operation during Winter Session from
Thursday, Jan. 5, through Friday, Feb. 3. The shuttle is available to
faculty and graduate students who make reservations in advance by
calling the Department of English at 831-2361, by noon on Wednesday of
each week.
Smith Hall closing
Renovation of the Smith Hall lobby will require that the building
be closed from Dec. 27-30. During that time, there will be no access
to the stairwell or elevators.
Renovations will continue for several months after the building
reopens, and the work may occasionally create limited access to
certain areas in and around Smith Hall.
Spring return
Residence halls will be open from 2-9 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, for
check in by students who are returning to campus for the spring
semester.
