An all-day conference on "Doing Business on the Internet" is
scheduled Wednesday, Jan. 18, in Clayton Hall.
Designed for business owners, accountants, business managers,
marketing and sales staff, entrepreneurs, economic development
professionals, decision makers and others, the conference will explore
everything from Internet basics to creating a business presence on the
Internet.
Those attending can find out how to reach customers and increase
business using the Internet, learn what vast information resources are
available, hear from business associates who already have made the
electronic business decision and learn about service providers and the
options they offer for doing business on the Internet.

small business services of Bell Atlantic Corp., will deliver the
keynote address.
The conference is a cooperative effort of the Office of
Information Technologies, the colleges of Agricultural Sciences,

Development Center and the Center for Information Systems Management,
Education and Research. Sponsors include the Delaware State Chamber of
Commerce, MCI and Bell Atlantic.
