Agamemnon, Aeschylus' masterpiece of betrayal, murder and

Presented by the Professional Theatre Training Program, this
devastatingly profound and provocative classic Greek tale entwines

evil from generation to generation.
The stunning recounting of the sacrifice of Agamemnon's daughter,
Iphigenia, and the resulting avenging murder by his adulterous wife,
Clytemnestra, has made Agamemnon one of the world's great plays.
Agamemnon will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12;

Staged reading of Nancy King play
A staged reading of Until We Notice, a play by Nancy King,
professor in the University Honors Program, will be given at 7:30
p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Unitarian Church, 730 Halstead Rd.,
Wilmington.
Featured in the cast will be Robert Bennett, associate professor
of English, and Sara Horowitz, assistant professor of English, both at
the University.
Until We Notice is based on a folktale found in many cultures.
The play explores what happens when Marissa, a young, beautiful,
wealthy and beloved daughter, encounters Fate, who forces her to
choose between being happy when young and unhappy when old or being
unhappy when young and happy in old age.
Marissa's decision causes the immediate loss of all her wealth,
privilege and protection. She is thrust into a world for which she has
no preparation or experience, and the play shows how she begins to
discover who she is and what she needs to make her way in the world.
