Home game buffet
     The Blue and Gold Club will feature activities to accompany each
home football game.
     A breakfast buffet is offered before each game from 10:45 a.m.-
12:15 p.m. Cost is $9.50 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-11 and
free for children under 5.
     The price includes bus transportation to and from the game. The
club also will offer catering for tailgates and a happy hour in the
Tavern after the game.
     The next home game is Nov. 12. Call UD1-CLUB for details,
reservations or a membership application.

Lunch and learn
     The second part of the series-"Caring for Older Family
Members"-will be presented from noon-1 p.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the
Collins Room of the Perkins Student Center.
     The program will feature a volunteer from Delaware Volunteer
Legal Services Inc. who will discuss legal considerations for the
elderly and their caregivers. Registration is required by Nov. 4.
     Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Beverages
will be provided.
     "Balancing Work and Personal Life," co-sponsored by the Office of
Women's Affairs, will explore maintaining a sense of humor, being
organized and learning to say "no" to alleviate the pressures
associated with work and personal life on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in the
Collins Room. Registration must be made no later than Nov. 28.

     These programs are part of the "Lunch and Learn" series,
presented twice a month for all employees by the Faculty and Staff
Assistance Program.

Gardeners wanted
     Experienced gardeners who want to share their knowledge with
others who may be interested in various aspects of gardening are
invited to apply for master gardener training.
     University of Delaware Cooperative Extension offers training in
horticulture in return for volunteer services.
     Application deadline is Dec. 31. Training begins in February.
